Eric Neufang, D.C.
 


Dr. Neufang graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from LeMoyne College in Syracuse, New York, and received his Doctorate of Chiropractic from New York Chiropractic College in 1996.

After graduation, Dr. Neufang was the first chiropractor to work with an MD-based urgent care center in all of central New York. At that time, he was a clinical instructor for the outpatient center at New York Chiropractic College where he directed NYCC students during their residency programs.

Dr. Neufang treats worker's compensation injuries, personal injuries, sports-related trauma, headaches, sprain/strain injuries, disc herniation, and pregnancy-related back pain. He has been asked to give expert testimony for workers compensation and personal injury cases. Dr. Neufang has also performed Independent Medical Evaluations and record reviews for many of the country's leading insurance carriers.

 

Subash Mathew, PT, DPT

 


subash mathew pt, dpt is an alumni at the university of illinois at chicago.   he received his bachelors in kinesiology with a focus on movement science in 2006 and then graduated the doctorate of physical therapy program in 2009.  dr. mathew has participated in balance and fall studies, has spent time in multiple outpatient orthopedic clinics, long term acute care hospitals, and rehabilitation facilities. he volunteered during special olympics to help children with disabilities succeed in physical activity.   dr. mathew has worked with a wide variety of patients including pediatrics and geriatrics with various diagnoses.   

            bringing a combination of evidence based knowledge and manual skills have been an important part of his treating philosophy.  he enjoys working with athletes and completing screens with high school volleyball and basketball players.  dr. mathew is a level 1 titleist performance institute certified clinician which he has used to help golfers return to their sport.  he also helps screen for potential injury for golfers as well.  furthermore, he was involved with acl prevention, hip prevention and biomechanics training for industrial workers to decrease low back injury.

dr. mathew believes that the best defense against injury is education and early intervention with preventative measures.  he also believes that the each patient has a unique potential for self-understanding and self-awareness.   by using manual techniques along with exercises and patient education, he feels that the patient can become an active and engaged participant in their recovery.

when not in the clinic, dr. mathew is an avid chicago sports fan and can be seen living and dying with his teams.  he can also be found on the driving range working on his golf game.   he enjoys spending time with his family and exploring the great outdoors.


 felicity cowles, lmt

 

felicity graduated from arizona school of massage therapy in august of 2012. she started 
working for active health in the fall of 2013. along with traditional relaxation and swedish massage, she 
specializes in therapeutic massage, deep tissue, and trigger point therapy. 
felicity is currently enrolled at mesa community college completing the prerequisites required 
to obtain a bachelor of science degree in kinesiology from arizona state university. she hopes to then 
go on to physical therapy school and receiver her doctorate of physical therapy. 
in her spare time, felicity enjoys reading a good book and playing softball. she also enjoys 
volunteering and spending time with her family and friends.
